On December 11th 2015,  The spokesman of the National Commission for Human Rights in Libya, Mr. Ahmed Abdul Hakim Hamza has been abducted, and is currently being held by the militia of « Alboorky » in the region of Abu-saleem in Tripoli.  The reasons and the motives behind this abduction and illegal incarceration are still vague or unknown.

The National Commission for Human Rights - Libya declares it's extreme Condemnation and denunciation for the appalling crimes commited against the civilians of the Libyan city of Sirte, a genocide and heinous violations committed by the terrorist organization Daash/ISIS/ISIL, resulting in the deaths of a several dozens of civilian victims, and many more wounded, as well as the mass displacement of civilians from the neighborhood No.3 in Sirte.
